We have some exciting news to share:
The Aging Rainbow Coalition was honored with the East Tennessee Aging Innovation Award at the Treasures of Aging Conference, hosted by the Tennessee Federation for Aging (TFA)!
This award recognizes outstanding programs that are creative, impactful, and meet an unmet need among older adults. We’re incredibly proud to be recognized for our ongoing efforts to ensure that everyone can age with dignity.
At the same conference, I also had the pleasure of leading a workshop highlighting LGBTQ+ older adults, discussing language, legacy, and aging with dignity. The response was wonderful, and it was an honor to represent our community on such a meaningful platform.
