As part of the Aging Rainbow Coalition's mission to foster community, we host monthly Health & Happiness Events. These gatherings take place on the third Wednesday of each month from 2-4 pm at various locations. Together, we engage in meaningful discussions on important topics, support one another, and have fun along the way.
Join us for a relaxed and refreshing stroll with fellow LGBT+ older adults! It’s a great way to enjoy the outdoors, get moving, and connect with others. Staying active is an important part of healthy aging, and what better way to do it than with good company and fresh air? **Don't forget your water**
As we celebrate Pride Month and raise awareness for brain health, join us in conversation about cognitive wellness in the LGBT+ community. A representative from the Alzheimer’s Association will share important information about the increased risk of Alzheimer’s and other dementias among LGBT+ older adults, along with ways to stay informed, proactive, and supported. It’s a great opportunity to honor our pride while focusing on health, awareness, and connection.
Thank you to the Clayton Pride group for sponsoring our snacks and beverages for this event; to include bagels, cream cheese, fruit, yogurt, coffee, and tea!
In this time of political turmoil and massive cuts to public health programs, your advocacy for people aging with HIV is more important than ever before.
