We make aging better for LGBTQ+ people nationwide. How? We show up and speak out for the issues that matter to us. We teach. We answer your calls. We connect—generations, each other, allies. We win. And together, we celebrate.
The National Resource Center on LGBTQ+ Aging is the country’s first and only technical assistance resource center focused on improving the quality of services and supports offered to lesbian, gay, bisexual and/or transgender older adults, their families and caregivers.
News, finance, wellness and other topics of interest for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer community.
There is an LGBTQ+ Veteran Care Coordinator (LGBTQ+ VCC) in every VA health care system to help you get the care you need. VHA policies require that your health care is delivered in a safe and respectful environment and that VHA employees respect your identity.
The LGBTQ+ VCC can answer your questions, advocate for your right to quality health care, handle complaints or concerns you have about your care, and help you get started with services for LGBTQ+ Veterans
We defend the LGBTQ+ and HIV+ seniors who face discrimination, whether they’re refused housing or denied Social Security and other survivor benefits.
The LGBTQ+ community may face particular challenges related to Alzheimer's and dementia. At the Alzheimer's Association, we believe that diverse perspectives are critical to achieving health equity — meaning that all communities have a fair and just opportunity for early diagnosis and access to risk reduction and quality care. .
